Dr Carr grew up living in New York, Florida, Texas and California. He got his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Texas Christian University. After this he went on to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for his medical degree. He stayed in Houston and did his general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine and his wife did her graduate studies at Rice University. After completion of his residency, he and his wife moved back to North Texas where they raised three daughters.
Dr Carr has special interest in treating surgical issues of the thyroid and parathyroid glands as well as doing laparoscopic and robotic surgery for intestinal problems and hernias.
When not practicing medicine, Dr Carr enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and skiing.
Thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, laparoscopic and robotic surgery for inguinal and abdominal wall hernias, laparoscopic and robotic surgery on the stomach, small bowel and colon, distal pancreatectomy, splenectomy, skin cancers, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendectomy.
